Tournament Details

Date: Saturday, September 18th 
Time: 9:00-16:00
Location: uOttawa Montpetit Gym

Registration opens August 26th
Early Bird special: $15/person until September 3rd
Regular: $20/person
Pay through website using Paypal
All proceeds go to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

 

Each team gets:
2 qualifier games to 11 points
4 round robin games to 21 points

Playoffs:
Playoff games will be refereed by volunteers. The number of teams that make the playoffs will depend on the number of teams registered.

Rules:
Minimum of 6 players per team upon registration (minimum 2 of opposite sex per team).

Teams may play with 5 players. If a team does not have 5 players 5 minutes after their game has begun the opposing team may take claim the win or play the game despite the lack of players.

Common Volleyball Canada Indoor Rules will apply. Rules will be outlined at tournament sign-in.

Philanthropic/Shine Events

These are some of the philanthropic events that will be happening in the summer for Shinerama. There will be SFUO philanthropic events as well, so check back for their dates. Also be sure to check out the facebook group for more information, or contact shinerama@ssa-aes.com.

May 24th - Bottle drive! -->We raised $188! A HUGE thanks to all who participated!

May 29th - Great glebe garage sale -->We raised $269.60, great job shiners!

June 11th - Sucker run 10pm -->The total from our 6 shiners --> $495.81!!

 July 1st - Canada day-->$117.37! Thank you to all who participated, it is greatly appreciated! :)

 July 9th - Sucker run -->$32, from Michael and Emily's bottles. Woo!

July 17th - Another sucker run?-->$382.27!! Awesome!!!

July 23rd - Hull BBQ-->$170! Great for a trial run!!

July 37th - Loonie toonie mile -->$132.35!!! WOOOOO

August 28th - Sucker run????

May 28th - Sucker run at the Drink, 9pm --> We raised $79.90, awesome job guys!

Friday June 25th - Sucker run--> $246.59 was our total! Woooo!!

Friday July 30th - Sucker run--> $166.50, great job!
