Great news!  The Faculty of Science and the SSA are jointly hosting a career fair to coincide with National Biotechnology Week on Thursday and Friday, September 25 and 26.  The event will consist of guest speakers from the industry, information booths, and guided tours of public and private research labs within the Ottawa region.  It's a great opportunity for students to get a taste of the field and check out some of the jobs you may find yourself in down the road.

Sign ups for the guided tours are taking place in the SSA office (MRN 015) this week.  There are 25 spots for a trip to the Ottawa Heart institute and Abbott Point of Care in Kanata, and there is another 25 spots on a trip to just the Heart institute.  Note that spots on the tours are being reserved for first-year students.
