2026-2027 General Council Elections

The election season for the 2026-2027 General Council of the Science Students’ Association is right around the corner! If you are hoping to make a difference for your fellow students in the Faculty of Science, this is your chance to join our team!

Each program will have one or two representative positions, with five positions specifically for first-year representatives. Additionally, there will be an election for the VP Academic role. Joining the SSA team offers a unique opportunity to enhance the student experience!

The timeline for the elections will be as follows:

* Nomination Period: Saturday, September 12th, 8AM - Wednesday, September 23rd, 5:30PM
* All-Candidates Meeting: Friday, September 25th 7 PM
* Campaign Period: Monday September 28th, 8 AM - Wednesday September 30th, 5:30 PM
* Question period: Tuesday September 29th, 7PM (VP Academic Only)
* Voting Period (online): Wednesday September 30th, 6 PM - Friday October 2nd, 6 PM
