Name: Jane Arciszewski
Year and Program: 4th Year, Biochemistry
Role: My role as President is to act as the main liaison between the students and the Faculty of Science, as well as between Sciences and other federated bodies of the UOSU. I oversee projects that the executives initiate, serve as the chairperson at SSA meetings, and ensure the smooth functioning of council members.
Fun Fact: My mom purposely gave me a really simple first name because my last name is so ridiculous.
Name: Liam Kenny
Year and Program: 4th Year
Role: My role as VP Finance is to oversee the financial operations of the Science Students' Association. Working with the Finance Assistant, I update the budget, write cheques and ensure that the SSA is transparent in all its financial operations.
Fun Fact: I’m a 4 time Canadian champion in Irish dance!
Name: Eleni Sokou
Year and Program: 4th Year Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in Social Sciences of Health
Role: The overall goal of my position is to plan events for Science students throughout the year! The major events that I am responsible for are 101 week, Science Formal, and Gradball.
Fun Fact: I play 5 musical instruments! 6 if you include singing.
Name: Sophie Gregoire-Mitha
Year and Program: 3rd Year, Biomedical Sciences
Role: I am responsible for the maintenance of the lockers, the management of SSA spaces, and ensure the smooth functioning of its systems. I also oversee the creation and execution of all SSA services, and serve as the chair of the Services committee.
Fun Fact: Starbucks is my home.
Name: Lauren Desilets
Role: I work with other faculties and universities across Ontario to facilitate a good relationship between them and the SSA, as well as with all SSA registered clubs. I also serve as the main liaison between the SSA and the Board of Administrators (BOA) of the UOSU.
Name: Océanne Comtois
Year and Program: 4th Year, Biopharmaceutical Sciences (Genomics)
Role: As VP Academic, my role is to organize academic related events such as the Wine and Cheese, award the SSA scholarships, sit on the Academic Fraud committee, and do my best to help with any academic issues that students might face.
Fun Fact: I am a lover of all things dinosaurs (my favourite is the stegosaurus).
Name: Ricky Saikali
Year and Program: 3rd Year, Biopharmaceutical Sciences
Role: I'm in charge of all the philanthropic initiatives throughout the year. In the summer, I focus on our Shinerama campaign, culminating with Shine Day during 101 week. If you have any ideas or suggestions that you'd like to see in 2019-2020, send me an email, I'd love to talk with you!

Name: Karishma Tailor
Year and Program: 2nd Year, Biomedical Sciences
Role: I create all logos, designs, posters, and promotional materials for the SSA and work hand in hand with the Social Media Manager to maintain the SSA's social media outlets. I'm also in charge of chairing the Promotions committee in order to improve the SSA aesthetic.
Fun Fact: I broke my collarbone playing "Ring Around the Rosie"!
Name: Malek Rahmani
Year and Program: 3rd Year, Biomedical Science
Role: I translate many things from English to French for the SSA such as website information, emails, Facebook posts and meeting minutes. I am also in charge of reinforcing bilingualism throughout the SSA which includes making the SSA a more welcoming environment for French students.
Fun Fact: I am excessively competitive when playing Scrabble.
Name: Patricia Rosales
Role: I oversee the acquisition, organization and transportation of all equipment and materials necessary for SSA functions. I am responsible for the association's distribution of merchandise, venue and room bookings, food and clothing orders, and coordinates with the association council to ensure the success of all SSA events.
Fun Fact: Don't judge me but I enjoy my leftovers cold.
Name: Victoria Ogden
Year and Program: 3rd Year, Chemistry
Role: I sit on the University Senate which is tasked with debating academic issues and ensuring proper management of educational policies.
Fun Fact: I've worked at summer camp for the past 7 years.
Name: Anjaliya Sonnilal
Year and Program: 3rd Year, Biotechnology
Role: I am responsible for ensuring that all events hosted by the SSA are accessible, welcoming, and inclusive of all students within the science faculty.
Fun fact: I once went 56 hours without sleep. I do not recommend.
Name: Thao Dao
Year and Program: 4th Year, Biomedical Sciences
Role: As last years president, I provide guidance to the Association Council and ensure that the integrity of the council is maintained from last year to this year.
Name: Emiliyan Staykov
Year and Program: 5th year, Biomedical Science (Co-op Option)
Role: I am responsible for the administration and training of all SSA volunteers in preparation for, and during, 101 Week. A few key aspects of my role include creating the 101 Week Guide application, selecting Science Guides and instructing / overseeing the selected Guides throughout 101 Week.
Fun Fact: I am a SpongeBob SquarePants enthusiast.
Name: Radhika Prabhune
Role: I take care of all things Shinerama for the summer. From Sucker Runs to Shine Day, my job is to create events to raise money for Shinerama and encourage Shiners to participate.

Role: I update the constitution regularly as new motions are passed, assist in the upkeep of the office/online calendars, taking meeting minutes, and perform various other administrative tasks.

Role: I maintain the SSA's website, ensuring content is accurate in both official languages.
Fun Fact: I’m obsessed with raccoons.
Name: Yzabelle Bisa
Year and Program: 4th Year, Biotechnology
Role: I work closely with VP Promotions to communicate announcements and campaigns to the student body. I oversee all SSA social media platforms where I create visual stories, interactive content and organize contests!
