The election season for the 2024-2025 Executive Council of the Science Students' Association is right around the corner! If you are hoping to make a difference for your fellow students in the Faculty of Science, this is your chance to join our team!
There are 10 executive positions to fill in total:

The timeline for the elections will be as follows:
Nomination Period: Wednesday February 14th, 8AM – Wednesday March 6th, 5:30PM
All-Candidates Meeting: Thursday March 7, 6:30PM
Approval of Poster and Platforms: Sunday March 10, 6Pm
Campaign Period: Monday March 11, 8AM - Wednesday March 13, 5:30PM
Questions Period: Tuesday March 12, 6PM
Voting Period (online): Wednesday March 13, 6PM - Sunday March 17, 6PM
Nomination forms must be submitted by email to electionsceo@ssa-aes.com
***Note: in order to be eligible to run for the VP Finance position, you must have served in the SSA for at least one year.
****Note: in order to be eligible to run for President, you must have served in the SSA for at least 2 office terms with at least 1 term served as an executive or 2 office terms as a Departmental Representative AND 1 term as a Summer Executive. You will also need to take a test to prove your bilingualism.
*Note: in order to be eligible to run for the VP External Affairs and VP Bilingual Affairs positions, you will need to take a test to prove your bilingualism.
**Note: in order to be eligible to run for the VP Promo position, you will need to take the official SSA Design Test to prove your knowledge in the operation of Adobe Photoshop and pass with at least a 75%.
